I just want to make sure you tried this! If you press escape you'll see a button that says retry! This happened to me before and it allowed me to continue without restarting the entire game! (I'm not sure if its a new feature or not)

This game was good! I really enjoyed the concept however,  I found it rather difficult to figure out how to finish the game.
